Seattle Hyaluronic Acid Filler Services (Juvederm, Restylane)
Fillers are gels used to treat lines and wrinkles of the face that are due to volume loss. As we age, we gradually lose volume in our face due to a combination of fat pads shrinking, muscle loss and bone loss of the skull. As a result, the skin on the surface becomes looser and gradually sags with gravity. There are several types of filler on the market, but we only offer gels made from hyaluronic acid. We prefer these because hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occurring polysaccharide in our skin. The hyaluronic acid in filler is virtually identical to our own natural hyaluronic acid, so it is a very safe product. Another benefit of hyaluronic acid-based filler is that they are easily reversible if a client wants to have it removed in the future for any reason. There are several brands of hyaluronic acid fillers on the market. We carry both the Juvederm and Restylane collections.
There are numerous gels available within the Juvederm and Restylane collections. All of them are made of hyaluronic acid. The difference between the fillers is the way the hyaluronic acid is bonded into a gel. There are firmer, more structural gels used to lift the cheeks back up or to define the jawline. There are smoother, softer gels used for flexible areas like the lips and areas around the mouth. We choose which gel to use based on the area being treated and the goals of the client. Our approach to filler is to bring out the client’s natural anatomy and support it. We are providing a subtle lift and smoothing effect for the purpose of looking refreshed, smoother, less saggy, less tired-appearing.

Blue Haven Medical Spa charges based on the number of syringes of gel used. Most clients will need between 1 and 4 syringes for an excellent effect. Here are our current prices (subject to change based on vendor pricing increases):
